Terminator Chaplain

This Terminator Chaplain was the second miniature I painted since my return.  On this guy I got to have a first go at scroll work, skull tones and line highlights.  I also enjoyed painting the gold/copper areas and was really pleased with the Aquila on his chest and shoulder.

For the bone I started with Khemri brown, shaded with Devlan mud wash and then Badab Black wash in deepest areas.  I then highlighted up through from Khemri to bleached bone and then to a final highlight of skull white.

The Armour was base coated 3:1 Chaos Black and Codex gray.  The highlights are 50:50 of the same colours working up to Fortress Gray on the edges.
